Parent reviews for Bayonetta 2. Common Sense says Well-made but very violent game objectifies strong heroine. Based on our expert review. Based on 13 reviews. Based on 11 reviews. Add your rating. Okay, let's start simple - this game is amazing in terms of both gameplay, and graphics quality, especially for Wii U standards. Got it? Now, Commonsensemedia said something that stood out to me, and that is the objectification of Bayonetta, the protagonist. Allow me to clear the air and state that she's not being objectified in the game, in fact it's quite the opposite. In the game she uses her sexuality to give her an advantage. She understands how she acts and bends that to further her to her goal.
It's simply part of her character. I'd also like to state that the character itself, Bayonetta, was deed by a woman. Is there a lot of blood? It's much less noticed in combat as it is in finishing moves. Is there gore? No, just blood. Yeah, but hardly.
Some references here or there. There's partial nudity when her main ability is activated, but it's short and always clean, of course. Other times there are appearances of skin on legs or arms during combos. Yes, there is some strong language, however this is not always a problem, as some people don't care about "bad" language or profanity.
Another thing I'd like to say is that commonsensemedia had nothing positive in the "what parents need to know" section. For what it's worth, Bayonetta is trying to save her friend throughout the story. But I'd also like to address Bayonetta as a role model. Honestly, I could see her as one. She's certainly strong and strong-willed, independent, and can most definitely take care of herself. So yes, contrary to commonsensemedia, I believe that she makes a great role-model. Anyways, that's that. Bayonetta 2 is a great game with great gameplay, locations, graphics, aesthetics, and a great protagonist.
I honestly do think Bayonetta 2 naked the age of 14 or older could and should play this game, it's quite well done. As a final note, don't solely base purchase decisions off of commonsensemedia, they tend to flag minor aspects of games as negative or exaggerate negative icons in them, such as the whole "Bayonetta being objectified" ordeal.
Also they tend to miss positive things from games. Thank you for reading my review, and I hope it helps when determining your purchase! This title contains: Positive role models. Parent Written by nuenjins August 11, Hyper sexualized, over the top and often ridiculous hack and slash.
Fun but juvenile.
If close up crotch shots and super powers that cause your female charecter to pose and become 2 thre from naked isn't exploitation, then nothing is. This game wears the shameless objectification on it's sleeve and says "deal with it". To say otherwise is delusional and you should get help. If you can't get into a rated R movie, you shouldn't be playing this. This fact taints the otherwise fun, whimsical hack and slash gameplay and crazy carnage that permeate throughout the rest of the game.
The script is cringeworthy garbage doing nothing but provide a backdrop to why you need to kill off heavens minions, You run, gun, kick, punch and torture kill foes and get the huge boss battles to fisih off the carnage. It's at the top of it's genre, but it's alot to swallow for anyone with a morale pallette. This title contains: Sexy stuff. Helped me decide. Parent of a Bayonetta 2 naked Written by kayned1 May 15, Just like the first.
It has been mislead by SJWs Just like the 1st. Many SJWs have gave this game a bad reputation just because the protagonist's revealing clothes but she's not really objectified. The protagonist uses her sexuality to overpower her foes and she is strong and will fight without any worry. Adult Written by Zach M.

February 6, Classic Title If you have heard of Diablo 3, it is like that, a beat em up fighting game where you are a witch fighting demons, it is like the company's earlier game: The wonderful pegi 12but this game has better graphics, meaning giant creatures.
They throw around swear words such as damn, hell, crap, 2 cases of Bh, 4 cases of S--t and an instance of F--k, she is naked at times but her hair covers everything so she is even more clothed than before.
Some mild sexual references no worse than simpsons and there is no blood. I hope my review helps. Adult Written by Nick P. Common sense media is too harsh again This game is not as bad as the original, when it says she is naked, she actually is using her witch hair in moves, it is a beat em up with little blood.
